Registration Information
REGISTER NOW
- The IOC Test Day calendar is available at this link.
- Click on the date you want and proceed to register for a test in Toronto or Mississauga.
- Choose the type of test you want to do, IOC or IOC Writing on Paper
- Choose the correct Module: Academic or General Training.
- Use one of these valid identification documents:
- a valid passport
- Canadian PR card
- Certificate of Indian Status
- Refugee Document
Bring the original ID document that you used for registration with you to the test. You must show it to test day staff.
Note: Drivers Licenses, Expired Passports, copy of a Passport or any other form other than those listed above are NOT accepted.
- Make sure that the details you entered during registration are accurate and complete: first name, last name, email address, passport number, date of birth, nationality, first language, mailing address, etc. To make any corrections, log back into your account.
- Minors, under the age of 18 must complete the Consent Form for Minors during your booking. If you fail to fill out and submit this form at time of your registration, you will not be permitted to sit for your exam.
- During the booking, you can request copies of your IELTS results to be sent to recognized organization (college, university, etc.) free of charge. For extra TRF requests made after your test, there is a fee for each additional copy (details below).
NOTES:
- Be careful choosing your Module: Academic or General Training. If you mistakenly registered for the wrong module (e.g., Academic instead of GT) report the mistake early. There will be a $30 fee for changing your module.
- The module can be changed up to only four days before your test day. If you miss the deadline, your test will be trasferred to another date and time. There will be an administrative fee of $120 for the transfer to another test date.

- All fees include HST.
- You can pay with your debit card or your credit card via PayPal.
- You can also pay with an INTERAC e-Transfer by selecting the offline payment method and following the instructions provided during the payment process.
NOTE:
You do not need a PayPal account in order to pay by credit card. You will be given a PayPal guest account.
Refund, Transfer and Cancellation Fees
About Cancellations
- If you cancel at least 14 days before your test date, you will receive a partial refund minus an administration fee ($284.25).
- If you cancel with less than 14 days' notice or fail to show up, you forfeit the entire fee unless you can prove exceptional circumstances.
About Transfers
- If you need to change your test date due to illness, you must provide a medical note for approval within 2 days of the test date. You may transfer to another date for $120 transfer fee. The doctor’s note must be in English and stamped and signed by the doctor.
- Provided that your cancellation or transfer request is within 14 days of your test date, the test centre will accept the following reasons to cancel your test with a partial refund, or move your test to a different date with a transfer fee. Acceptable reasons are
- Loss or bereavement: death of a close family member
- Hardship/trauma: victim of crime or traffic accident
- Military service

NOTE:
- You will be able to download an electronic version of your Test Report Form (eTRF) directly from your account. You will be notified by the booking system when your test results are released.
How to apply for a remark
You can request an Enquiry on Results (EOR) directly from your IELTS account within six weeks of the test date. Once you complete the payment, your application will be reviewed by a Senior Examiner in IDP Australia.
Important Notes:
- Precise IELTS Centres is not involved in this review. All EOR requests are handled entirely and independently by IDP Australia.
- IDP Australia does not provide feedback on your EOR request, irrespective of the outcome.
- As a result of an EOR, the scores may go up or stay the same. They will not go down.
- The EOR decision is final.
- If your scores change, you will receive a full refund of the fee you paid for the EOR.
